I am with Gizzmo on this one. Smart FTP all the way... I use it for the edit feature which is pretty darn good.
Occasionaly I will use Macromedia in built FTP... but not that often....

It looks good.
Dont work from here... IE6... Links dont work and google ads sit under the whole page. Just thought I would let u know.
Quick question.
Curious mate....
Whats with the '<h1><span>.</span></h1>' in the top of your code. I just cant make any sense of using it...
Thanks Connorhd. Works a treat...
I have a question... how can I swap around the time and the date... so instead of...
20th Sep 05 18:13
I have...
18:13 - 20th Sep 05
and the reason I posted here. Is because I have this bit of code in my forum as it is a nice touch, I was wondering if changing it round would cause a problem.
Thanks in advance.

I like the sound of both of them... Will keep my eye out in the future...
I was going to bodge it myself... but
Paul wrote:Looking at that picture I would say your problem (apart from an inability to move a mouse in straight line) ...
hahaha
Oh come on... the third line on the left is pretty spot on...
In fact... I done it on purpose to be like that.. because if I done it with Photoshop perfectly then you wouldnt of understood the problem
Ok I lie...
If that doesn't work then you must have done something with the border settings to turn them off.
For some strange reason I had this in my code...
.pun .tcl {BORDER: none}
.pun .tcr {BORDER: none}
Which can easily explain the problem... So all fixed now on the forum view front.... for now
Thanks
Thanks a bunch Steven! I've updated the donor list accordingly. Let me know if you want me to change the listing in any way.
No problem at all. That is perfect... Thanks Rickard.
Its going to a dirty PHP NUKE site at the moment - but that will change shorlty
Oh yeah!
DOH! my mistake
It works for me. Try again. I think it was a temporary problem.
Come on then own up... What did you do???
It works for me now...
Have donated £20... have a good drink on me... or anything else you may do with it.
From: webmaster@marine-hunters.co.uk by the way.
I just noticed there is no wink in your smilies...
Well PunBB have you to thank for that...
No doubt I would of contributed sooner or later, but after the support you have given. It has turned out to be sooner.
ESPECIALLY considering I come from PHP-Nuke and its just effort to get any questions answered. I havent looked back once... and WONT....
Grr... I HATE PHP-NUKE.....
Just to make sure it is not just me, but your donation button is not working. It trys to go to a https (paypal) page, but then comes up with some error page. If you refresh that it just takes you back to the Orignal PayPal site.
Is this just my browser playing silly buggers.....please confirm thanks.
Cheers
This is true...
The CMS's around are close to impossible in some sections though. PunBB does have a few things that are out of my league, but I mean a few. I feel I have done pretty well, and I am just trying to do some finishing touchs... which are the hard part.
Anyway on that.... I need you again
I promise its the last time... I think its something I have changed that has made this go wrong, but not 100% certain.
(Before you say anything, yes I would like straight lines... not ones like I have drawn + (them little post indicators will change))
Basically... I would like borders simliar to the pic.....
I done the middle bits easy, but once again no luck with the others.
Sorry for being a pain, but at the same time thanks for the help. It really is appreciated.
It works perfectly...
Thanks paul... You trully are a great one.
plus... on the side... stop making it look so easy...its cruel..
OK Paul... That next brain picking time as come...
I now need to the same for inside the forum...
Why am I thinking this code should cover that too...
Anyway thanks in advance...
Try .pun td.tcl h3 {height: 2em; line-height: 2em}
The dimensions are not crucial, adjust to fit provided they are both the same.
Paul.... spot on mate....
Much appreciated... much better than my little fix
No doubt I will be picking at your brain again at some point... until then. Have a good day...
All fixed.... Well sort of....
I cheated.
I have made the post indicators smaller, which have squashed down the size of the rows. But if you do come up with any ideas then would be appreciated as would prefer slightly bigger icons than I have at present.
Thanks for your input, I am just thankfull it was not me missing something simple. I tried so many variations but the bloody thing would not move...
I have altered a few bits... but nothing drastic I dont think... here is the link...
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance...
Just tried it... still no luck...
Will keep trying different options..
The mod works great, but have a little problem with the back end.
When I go to admin options, and change something... no matter what I change it always tells me that I have "Invalid maximum images per post.".
I have changed what I needed to from the back end, but I still wondered if anyone else having the same problem. Or if you could point me in the direction of the possible cause.
Thanks.
Posted on Punres as well.
Ok a quick one for you...
Why can I not vertically align News?... no matter what I do it wont move. I think I am missing something very simple here but for the life of me I cannot see it.
(PIC HAS BEEN REMOVED) - as paul the great fixed my problem...
Thanks in advance...
FIXED!!!
Still a little worried as I didnt do anything to fix it. My only guess is that I had spaces in my code somewhere I shouldnt.
I love the fact its fixed, but I also hate the fact that I dont have a clue what the problem was.
Apologies I didnt post sooner, but for some reason I could not access PunBB for a little while. All ok now.. and thanks for the response's.
Ok I am starting to get damn confused here...
Could someone explain how profile.php parses the header differently to index.php... I cant make heads or tails of it.
Help Me!!!
I have a new menu that I would like to use in place of the old menu system along the top. The problem is, I am not 100% certain on the best place for the code.
The code is a little bit of HTML, a chunk of Javascript and then finally a little CSS for styling. I have put the CSS part in my Style Sheet already. Plus I did regenerate the navlinks in the functions.php so that it used my menu system.
Everything worked fine up and to the point of trying to look at my profile. As soon as I click on my profile then my menu system falls apart... it is as if the CSS is not being attached properly.
Anyone help me? or any questions?

I have obviously put a test account, because profile is not an option unless logged in. The last thing I want is a million accounts testing it... lol
Thanks for your help and advice in advance.
Thanks
